Q: Why are your ratings backwards?
A: Because they are.
Q: Are you guys actually film critics?

Q: Why the hell should I pay attention to you?
A: We believe we have a lot to say and have a unique perspective on film and the industry itself. In short, we believe we have a voice that you haven’t heard before. Whether this is a fact or just pure hubris is for you to decide.
Q: I don’t see much movie news on here.
A: That’s because we are not a movie news site. There are a ton of those already. We will only cover news items through the prism of “Those who love film but hate Hollywood”.
Q: Do you do a podcast?
A: At present, no. But we will do one down the road.
Q: You guys sure like guns. Are you a bunch of NRA nutjobs?
A: Far from it. It’s just a motif that fits this site well. But yes, we do like guns.
Q: I’m trying to decide what to see this weekend but you don’t review every new movie! The hell?
A: We don’t want to see every piece of crap that is coming out (unless someone slides us some loot to do it). That is what our Warning Shots feature is. Movies we have not seen, don’t plan on it, and are warning you about.
Q: How do you know if something is going to be a piece of crap before you see it?
A: Trust us, we can smell the really bad ones.
Q: Isn’t that a little unfair to those movies?
A: Yes.
Q: Why do you review them fancy movies with subtitles? If I wanted to read, I’d pick up a durn cereal box.
A: Are you really that narrow-minded?.
Q: Are you one of them movie snobs who is against all big Hollywood blockbusters?
A: Of course not. Read this site long enough, and you’ll see we like a wide range of film.
